Bare Root Design Studio at the Milnor House
The Milnor House is a humble historic abode nestled near the heart of Newtown Borough Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It serves as both a living design studio and home.
Built by John Milnor in 1800, a local stone mason, the house borders the Newtown Creek which divides the township and borough. The structure has undergone 2 major face lifts since our possession in 2009. Most recently, a complete overhaul of the original structure which started in 2019 and continues to receive design details as the home evolves. We are humbled to be featured in the 2026 Summer issue of Bucks County Magazine where we take a closer look at the history of this little dwelling for all to appreciate.
Bare Root Design Studio is open by appointment or by chance.
